Insider whisper — Last 3km is gravel — sedan-friendly in dry weather; 4x4 after rain. Stock basics in town; the farm kitchen is equipped but shops close early. Bring cash for the caretaker tip and roadside avocado sellers. Book Friday–Sunday for the fullest farm rhythm. Fireplace wood is provided in winter — ask for extra if nights look cold. Phone signal dips near the dam; Wi‑Fi holds at the main house.
